Beaver.... and not the furry kind

Postby chopper_nut » Wed Oct 24, 2018 9:46 am

Don't have any flight controls with me right now (something I'll fix when I come back for my next stint) so I've been spending my time on scenery design. More on that later, in the mean time, here's SoulMade Simulations DHC2 for XP11 flying from the Hollyford strip (the scenery I'm working on) to Manapouri. It's an old XP10 model that has been brought up to spec. Having to fly it with the mouse at the moment  but it seems like a lot of fun. Includes tundra tyres, floats and an amphibious version.

Jack of all trades master of none... Hollyford Valley strip and Gunns camp are more or less finished but the mesh in the area is really bad. I haven't been able to get any consistent results when testing with different people so it's been shelved until the next update of the Lyndiman ortho scenery. Hopefully that fixes it up. I am working on another scenery though. An airstrip with a huge amount of history in NZ that hasn't really been covered, to my knowledge, in any simulation. There'll be screen shots soon.
