What a slab of an aircraft....

Great shots Marty!

War Thunder definitely seems to be coming up trumps these days with the aircraft that have been added.

The Javelin certainly had an intetesting history. Probably shouldn't have gone into production. The prototype had poor controls and it was said to be nearly impossible to perform any sort of manoeuvres in. It then proceeded to shed it's elevators due to flutter although the pilot managed to coax it back to the ground. Two more prototype aircraft were lost to deep stall conditions. All through this, Gloster was pushing the development forward and largely ignoring the chief test pilots concerns. A pretty interesting machine. Great pics btw Marty.
