Marty - the A340 was a very elegant aircraft, especially the -500. Here is a pic of a number of elegant planes, from my FS9 Classic about 2006. It was originally called "lifting bodies" and I think it was at Heathrow.

Im an A300 guy myself, think the proportions look better, and love the old school panel.
This new 330 looks sweet tho, thanks for sharing screenies Terry, do a review for us some time on the systems if you get a chance :thumbup:

At the holding position and observing an A330 on final approach, always reminds me of a bird of prey descending upon its victim. A very nose high attitude, impressive wing bend and the dangling landing gear resembling the legs/talons. An impressive looking aircraft.
