Ha good job too, otherwise your subject would be somewhat modified!
These are good shots, and your sim of choice lends itself to those in your face views.
I was reminded of growing up with 1/72nd Airfix renditions - no way you'd be able to paint them like this!
Even this guy proves my point.

That's a lot of paint for something in 1-72 ...I don't know why, but watching him placing and adjusting the decals, made me nervous ....odd.
