Douglas DC-6B

There are days when I heartily curse the MSFS. 2 times in a row, the MSFS threw me off and ruined a flight of several hours. The aim was to fly from New York to Miami and to commemorate the first attempts at a shuttle flight without a binding ticket. That was revolutionary in 1960... The United States noted the beginning of this form of air travel between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, which is where it started back then. Eastern Airlines got its start on this route. 212 DC-6B were used and because this was not enough, a DC-6A was rented and this freighter was converted. But this machine crashed on takeoff from La Guardia and ruptured on Ricker´s Island Prison. Meanwhile, Eastern has been history for a long time. But the idea was picked up by other societies. Currently, it is probably a business of American Airlines. Escape the wintry New York and fly to Miami for a long weekend, even today, still has something...
