I like it.
What heli in MSFS is providing the currently 'best' flight model?

The freeware R44 and Squirrel are the best purely on flight model. They tell me that the payware Bell 47 is also pretty good

Have you flown the R44 / Squirrel IRL and in sim and have first hand knowledge, by any chance?
When I go heli, I want it real; I want the challenge.

Got 1000 hours + in Robbies and done a rating and a little bit more in the Squirrel. 'Real' is a subjective term. XP has by far the most accurate flight dynamics but I can't do in XP what I can do in the real thing. So much of helicopter flying is done by feel which you simply don't get in any sim. VR and proper helicopter controls help but it's still very hit and miss. What the R44 and Squirrel give you is a plausible experience where the controls more or less do what they're supposed to do and the aircraft behaves more or less correctly in the air. They're not very good system wise yet though.

Yeah, I still have heli controls on my wishlist, but with cost if living here in NZ, food, fuel, mortgage rates, etc, I really need to focus of the 'needs' rather than the 'wants' for now :(
