Oskosh 2022

Postby ikbenik » Sat Jul 30, 2022 12:54 am

The now this week ongoing IEAA (International Experimental Aircraft Association Fly-In Convention) is a yearly week long AirVenture festive at the Wittman Reg Airport(KOSH) near Oskosh - Wisconsin - US.
During this week nearly 10000 aircrafts lands, departs and a lot of them showing their best in front of the 500000 spectaters spread over that week. Hereby a small fraction of MSFS-shots with some of the planes
in my hangar giving their best, enjoy the views:

AMAZING SHOTS

Does MS2020 produce afterburners for jet fighters such as your F-14 Tomcat and F-104??

Yes, it does by full throttle and use of afterburner by all jetfighters in my hangar: F15-F16-F18-F22-F35 and the vintage F104, F14 and Mig21. Also by the supersonic legendary Concorde in a roaring take-off flight.
Also vortexes by sharp turns and in some cases the supersonic soundbarrier effect.

Best regards,
Johnny

Thanks for posting, your shots give a good impression of the "busyness" of the place!
I am wondering from where they draw the ATC resources to marshal 10k aircraft movements?
It's a beacon of US organisational capability.
Also can't recall when and how it became a fly-in for anything with wings, experimental or no.
