Above the roofs of Paris...

Postby hasegawa » Sat Sep 17, 2022 12:25 am

Von DZ923 - Le Plessis Robinson - Centre Hospitalier Marie Lannelongue (VAC HLEP) - DZ752 - Paris Lariboisière - Hopital Lariboisière (VAC HPLR)

The Bell 47G is familiar to anyone who can remember "MASH 4077".
200 hp, a glass dome as a cockpit and the patients hung outside on the stretchers. The only "luxury" in this type of flying were the windshields on the stretchers.
This is a flight over Paris in selected bad weather and ground fog. In addition to the flight itself, the main difficulty was finding the landing site.

By the way, this is the only helicopter currently available as payware. Asobo should be ready with its own solution in November. Let's wait and see what's in store for us. Helicopters are and always will be a cool thing.

Nice pics. I haven't tried this as I'm not really a 47 guy... if it was a Hiller 12, it'd be a different story. It's not the only payware helicopter available for MSFS though. HPGs EC145 has been out for some time.

nice foggy shots, should you be flying in this weather?
Funny, the only time I've flown in one of these was in real life, never really succeeded flying a helicopter in the sim..

I no longer read the "official announcements of court reporting, but as far as I know, official support for helicopters by Asobo is planned for November. In general, a lot is planned for November. A DC-3 should also come. Whether that still affects us in Germany, I know not yet. I'll switch off my computer from December 31st. With the electricity prices in Germany, flying in the MSFS with a computer that has a 550 watt power supply is pure luxury. It's cheaper to play golf there and it's better not to give real winter anymore.
