An Actual Flight

Postby Charl » Sun Jun 25, 2023 8:33 pm

Found some NZ repaints for the C208 and thought I might try an actual trip in the sim.
I have never done an origin/destination flight in MSFS, I always get sidetracked by the screenshots and then it's all over.

The Cessna is dead easy to fly, with user-friendly avionics and especially nav equipment.
After a while boredom set in and the photofinger started to quiver...
However this was halfway to Queenstown so I managed to finish the flight.

But then I noticed the FREE Ford that came with the latest MSFS FREE update.
Some might think they had died and gone to flightsim heaven.
It is most beautifully made.

Like it. I have some typical german aircraft in the inventory like the Junker F. 13 and the Ju 52 3/m Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun and also this one in the inventory and this is an inspiration to do something with them. Nice.

I mean... actual WIRE WHEELS

EDIT: Thought I'd try to show the detail not apparent in the above engine shot, it's 3d in the original
