The first mistake I made was painting the plane. In 1943, machines of this type had two-tone camouflage and the red dot was removed from the white American stars in May 1942.
The first attempt with the F4F and it wasn't all that bad. The machine makes a solid impression and has no ugly habits.

I'll do my best. Rather, you have to be careful with the repaints and pay attention to the right time and the right camouflage paint and national emblems. The work of Kees Blom and other Repainters who make an effort to "resurrect" a certain "real" and not fictional aircraft deserve recognition and respect. We should treat history more carefully.
