Tallinn Airport (EETN) - Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup (EKCH) DHC7

Last flight in 2023. When night falls, somewhere near Visby over the Baltic Sea...
With this flight I completed 2023 in MSFS. Due to politics, the "3 Baltic Mickey Mouses" have moved from the center of Europe to the edge of the EU and have lost much of their importance, which was to be a mediator and gateway to Russia. Although not the largest airport in Scandinavia (that's Stockholm Arlanda), Kastrup is an important European hub.

The nav systems I imagine must be really local-specific!
A few years ago I travelled thereabouts, and the further east you went, the more Google maps insisted you were now in southern Italy.
So, no GPS.

Meanwhile, the GPS signals had become quite accurate between Cold War one and the current SMO in Ukraine now, but the GPS belongs to the US Navy and the Russian GLONASS is also a military system. Even though both sides say they won't mess with it, I wouldn't bet on it. The sanctions here in Europe have changed a lot, and that doesn't just affect navigation and the use of airways. Here in the West, you can definitely feel the nervousness.

Aharon, It can make sense to pay attention to which lighting you use in certain weather conditions. In Copenhagen, we had visibility that fluctuated between 2 and 5 km and occasional wisps of fog this night. In the worst case scenario, you will be blinded by your own lighting. Of course, there are rules, but they don't always help. We're seeing it right now in Haneda. The Japanese Coast Guard's DASH 8 was not visible.
