Both aircraft look good, but the Spitfire gets my vote.

80 years ago this year, this screen may have been relevant.
Checking dates like this always make me more aware of my age.... I was born just 12 years after WW2 ended.
Age awareness doesn't seem to kick for a few years...or decades.

Not to underestimate. There were actually captured B-17s and even more popular B-24s used in the KG 200. The KG 200 was no ordinary squadron, but a rather obscure special operations club. The B-24s were used in 1944 to provide nighttime resupply to bases of German troops on Greek islands cut off after the collapse of Romania.
