I won't go into the history of Gibraltar since 1704 here, but on the other hand there is an add-on that refines the existing scenery in the standard flight simulator a little. You know that I always like to visit historical locations. Today's aircraft also has something to do with Gibraltar and the Royal Navy, the Westland "Wasp", a machine designed as an on-board helicopter for submarine hunting.
I have interesting story about how British Airways Trident managed to outrun and escape Spanish air force Sabre interceptors. Also I have interesting fact about how dangerous the runway approach is due to the fact that Spain does not allow any British based airline to use Spanish air space to approach to land on the island's runway
Great post Sir The Wasp model looks good as well. I have one, plus a Scout in War Thunder ...but very hard to fly. Looking forward to your next mission
