It's been awesome to see these two together for real, albeit only in photo and video for me, so it's really neat to see them in the sim too. Is this the FlyingIron Spit?

Israeli pilots shot down Egyptian Spitfires in 1948 using Czechoslovakian-built Avia S-199s (based on the BF-109G)

That is correct. The Avia planes were responsible for saving Israel's existence by driving massive Egyptian army out.

Also, Israeli Spitfires shot down spying RAF Spitfires piloted by British RAF pilots too.
