Haven't done much in the way of carrier flying in the last few years so I thought I'd have a crack.

Another one inbound to HMAS Melbourne near Korea

The Flying Stations Ark does laps in the Med Ian, if we can get everyone with the same addons it would be a go I reckon.

Unfortunately one person has to drive the carrier - you cannot use AI carriers for a MPs, Bruce Fitzgerald did the CV-6 USS Enterprise which is the only useable quick fix ... has to be WWII aircraft for that one

Sure with a little work it could modified .

I've been watching 'Sailor' a lot recently haha. Haven't quite mastered bringing a Bucc aboard the Ark yet... it's a lot of aeroplane.

Its just practice smile.gif , I plonked a Skywarrior onto the Ark, that was a lotta fun , don't have a Buck , but it is a lot more challenging onto a smaller carrier.

Yeh I just have to practice that's all. I've got that TACAN gauge that the virtual french navy developed and that helps when the mirror is hard to see. The trouble with the Bucc is the visibility with a high nose attitude on approach.

Some advice from Nowra ohmy.gif

MikeW
'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

That's a good sentiment. Scares me a little in the sim. I don't think I'd go too well in real life laugh.gif There isn't a museum in the world that isn't behind ropes now thanks to people like you Ian... wink.gif

We would all have to have the same aircraft type and all have CV6 install .. mine always is .. the CAG also is in charge of taken the screen off approach's and the MP flight to record and to post later on , Swordfish is the freeware but generally all other are payware such as Avenger Corsair Hellcat Dauntless .

Did you have the carrier installed ? starter point to get up and running , I do have the Swordfish installed Sooooo maybe if we get a few others with both these small freeware addons , maybe today would be a good try time, you would find the Swordfish docile as heck for carrier landings and takeoffs.

Flew an anti submarine patrol from the Ark in the western approaches. Nothing really special, just an excuse for a cloud shot.

It is an amazing aircraft looking at the two Mamba engine then coupled to gearbox's .. don't think you can see that today, one off the biggest thing with Museums is you can ask at the front door for a liaison to really check these out ... winkyy.gif
