whathesaid.gif I suggest practicing with a piston machine or a slow turboprop first also. I went hooning in the Gannet first off to get the feel of it. The S-2 is also a good idea.

Found a thing called FSXPilot which could well be the answer to what I am trying to do. Initial tests look promising.
There can be a lot of typing involved, although it is mainly copy/paste/edit, but at the end of the day, you can load a flightplan from gate to gate, including pushback, taxying out, takeoff, enroute, autoland and taxying in to the gate.
Could be les genoux des abeilles...

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Nice Screens smile.gif there is a HMS Eagle in production, I think it will equal the detail off some of the more recent carriers.

The Eagle would fill one of the holes in the RN fleet. I think that model has been in production for a long time though.

It sure does. I'd quite like an updated Ark. The Flying Stations one is looking pretty dated now.

Damn I wish ships like this would visit NZ ports now. Not that there are any ships like that anymore, well not with those sorts of aircraft anyway.

And Damn I wish I still had those photos, some dropkick decided stealing them was a better idea .

I think it zig zags sometimes. There was no wind on the water so the carrier didn't have to turn into wind. Should be in Gibraltar in a few days.

I'm using the Flying Stations mod that uses google tracks. One of the tracks goes to Sydney though.

AI Carriers is better for practicing and is easier to set up. Flying Stations is better for a more immersive carrier experience but requires more setup.

"Scimitar Five Two, Surface contact 92 miles bearing 105, Your signal is Buster"

What's that...

Foxtrot Class Sub...

Giving Ivan the bird and blasting off back to Vic

Back in the race track

"Slightly below glidepath, adjust your rate of decent"

"...POWER...."

"Two wire, foul deck"

Nothing like a walk around the catwalk to focus the mind...
