Just kidding.
But still this will be a difficult one. Good thing their is an excellent prize to spur me on

Don't knock it Ian - better to have rain in your face than dust!

quite right their , one Avalon airshow , walking in (our case running) a very westerly wing and course the airport and region was serve drought , you had to run covering your face against a sand blaster (stinging your face) , never felt or experienced anything like it before .

Bizarre! I used to own a 5th wheel caravan identical to that one. Was a '98 Skyline Nomad, imported from the States. Didn't expect to see it show up at Manapouri!![]()
Aaaanyway, my festive season contribution, Santa's lolly drop (along with some small change from my pocket) for the needy children in downtown Auckland![]()

Hope you remembered to hit the "Jettison Canopy" lever inside the cabin. Otherwise your lollies (and small change) will be rolling round in your inverted canopy. No lollies for those needy kids living in flash apartments on Auckland waterfront then.Last edited by connor on Wed Dec 22, 2010 3:32 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Yep, sure is. No, can't say I have had any ground handling drama's. It is a little tricky, but not worse that the default Extra 300 on the ground. What type of controller do you have?

I have a Saitek Cyborg Evo (not the force feedback one, unlike the Muppet on trademe who advertised it as force feed back). It's not turning where there is trouble, I can't even get it to turn. As soon as you put any throttle on it inches forward, until it gets to half a knot or so, then it starts to wobble and jump up and down. The only way you can stop it is the dreaded "
SLEW MODE
," which isn't very nice. I've sent a support ticket to David Whatsi-sname at IRIS, just waiting for a reply

Hmmm. not sure why it would do that. I have never had any trouble with Iris products and I have the whole range now, thanks to the sale. I did have a lot of trouble with the configuration on my controller (Logitech G940) but got that sussed a while ago and all add-ons are working fine on the ground.

Just got the support ticket back from IRIS, there was a simple copy and paste solution to fix a contact point error. She's all good now.
