As in "Transavia PL-12 Airtruk" ... the one that re-defined the word "ugly"? laugh.gif

I'm sure I saw an FS version of it around somewhere ... though I found a nice pic of the real ZK-CJU here.

There is....and was a version...Deane made it, Ive had it for years, but theres no way my computer will even look at f/s98 otherwise i would have screened it.
Dear old CJU......Ahhhhhhh, maybe I'll try and make one....should be ready in about 8 years...as an alpha winkyy.gif

Who needs a Nanchang when we could have an Airtruk?:

Photographed with a seized engine as the prop texture doesn't work in FSX. Cute, eh??? laugh.gif

pl12fkf.zip and spl121.zip ... both on flightsim.com ... but the prospect may be too awful, laugh.gif

It really is a very old/crude model, but I'm sure it looked OK in 2002!

It did from memory, and in 98....ahhhhh, i remember soaring among the big "square" clouds ....looking down at a square river........the good old days.
If you and Doug can get that prop moving, I'll be a happy old airtruker smile.gif ....

OK guys stop moaning about getting an Airtruk these pics are FSX DX9 but DX10 you get a solid disk prop

Could do with a 2D panel make over got stuff all gauges has no VC

But for you guys and that includes Marty that are hell bent on having an Airtruk it should do you fine until after we get our Nanchang
If you are still having prop problems there are a couple of programs that can sort it out.
This program fixes a lot of FS9 and earlier props for FSX http://www.interkultur.de/gossmann/fsx/dow...lacer-Setup.zip

Airtruks are so incredibly ugly they're cool. I would LOVE an updated model...

Edit by Mod You had a double up so have deleted one

On those long winter days sitting in the TGC's caravan waiting for a short cold front to pass, I can remember Stew Griffiths (one of the club's tow-pilots) telling us how the club had leased an Airtruk in the 80's or early 90's...

Reckoned it was the best thing since sliced bread laugh.gif Great for dual towing - two Januses (Janii?), both 2-up and one with full water ballast on board, launching of rwy 03 (that's 04 now) in the middle of a stinking hot summers day.
He also recalled returning to NZTG after a weekend away (possibly the Easter flying camp at Taupo) after having dual-towed the two-seaters back, with a couple of members in the crew/loader's cabin... He'd pretty well forgotten them by the time of release and proceeded to try and chase the end links of the rope while still high over the back blocks of Oropi.

After landing, words were spoken ninja.gif grass was kissed, and two members walked away having witnessed/experienced looping in an Airtruk thumbup1.gif

Good anecdote Alphashark.

Anybody want to guess what the first aircraft to land at Mangere Auckland International just prior to opening?

On the subject of Crescos, here's some shots I posted on the OZX

Thanks Connor , yip , not a site i frequent , i prefer the searching the data via a tech shop or other sources , we have many on the forum with access to the aircraft , just hoping i could find information and details relevant to a build , frame diagrams and such .
