Upon the encouragement of Naki, here is my favorite screenshot from a formation flight of three RFC WWI biplanes taken over the weekend. The screenshot was taken in close proximity to Masterton (Hood Aerodrome), where Peter Jackson's "The Vintage Aviator" is located. There you will find all three of these types shown. The markings on the Sopwith Camel in fact (although hard to see in this particular shot), are the same that the TVAL Camel sports. The three aircraft are the Robert Bruce Bristol Fighter, Alphasim-freeware SE.5a, and the Craig Richardson/Matt Ivey Sopwith Camel.

John, good to see you in the competition! Your screen posts in SOH inspired me to change my entry. smile.gif Great screen! I'll have to track down the other two and place them in my hangar at some point.

The gang's all here - at VLC Alexandra. Not any more - shifted the whole circus to NZGS. Just wish they'd get away from the free-range parking idea. rolleyes.gif
EDIT: Fiddled the flightplan to bring the Rapide more into shot - but not so close you can see it taxis with its chocks out (as does the An-2) biggrin.gif
EDIT2: This Poli is a cracker - it's a pity the still shot doesn't show you those rocker arms bopping up and down...

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

It's the one in the VLC South Island Airfields pack...I do have the township, by a "KB" , but that airfield is not installed.
