Two French Navy Rafale's in formation around the eastern coast. No land in sight this time, I found that the clouds/visibility makes both aircraft pop out the picture more.

Here's some iconic geological formations that anyone would recognise...

But for the sake of the rules -- Volcanic plateau, shot from my trusty Bell 206.

Havards in fomation heading towards Paraparaumu with Kapiti Island in the background. I thought a shot from the pilot's point of view might be a bit different.

Nice one, Greg - in an MP you would see one of my autopiloted carriers docking at the north end of Kapiti :)

I don't edit posts 'I take a quote' .. I do delete the images so not to repeat it with comment and any comment connected to the or any the previous posting , .. I only grab the post and specific detail , I don't rip a person personal messages apart.

Sorry Ian - I didn't mean to come across as vitriolic as it came out! I think (somehow - and I'm guessing) your quote turned into an edit. The original post was somehow edited. Possibly (if you have moderator's access) a slip of the keyboard. Easily done.

There was some "witty" comment of mine about using Spitfires maybe being considered "cheating". I mean - who can reisist a Spitfire - let alone seven of them LOL. I forget what I said - but words to that effect. The pic must have been up there for a short while, otherwise you couldn't have referred to it in your reply. Anyway - who cares(?) ... on with the show!!!
