UPDATE: I went for PAX ... and was promptly given a download link by HiFi. Both download and subsequent install went totally without a hitch. The GUI is simple yet very professional - and I've managed to scare the pants off my first group of guinea pigs (oops - I mean passengers). I was in such a hurry to take off that I slammed the door on them and only allowed 4 of them in. When I re-opened the doors, I found the rest of the group so traumatised by this lack of respect that they'd disappeared off to the ANZ bar.

Some autopilot bungling (you mean *that* switch??) ... caused a bit of a bump on take-off for which I duly got a thumbs-down and six points deducted [gulp!]. A couple of slapped wrists and a short while later we landed at NZWN (uneventfully this time).

If I did a full(er) review of PAX - which I think comp winners ought to be encouraged to do - should I place it here or create a new thread?
