Wicked .. Bruce your efforts cool.gif and Dean smile.gif Thankyou so much ,

Now Guys and Gals(?) I can vouch for both the early models winkyy.gif The Hellcat and previous release to the Hawk the Dauntless .. this one as you can see above in the NZFF banner, very much a Kiwi connection . To give you an idea off were the SBD was operated , watch the TV series 'Pacific' .

WOW this month is going to be one little wing ding cool.gif

Thanks Marty - if you have a look at the "speedo" you'll see it was a very BRIEF moment too! plane.gif I was on a bit of a go-faster buzz that night! laugh.gif Mind you, the buzz wore off real quick when I saw the fuel bill!! Ian's right - no fuel for that sort of antics...fun tho!

Inspired by a true story. The [French] Concorde test pilot could apparently roll a DC-3 with a full cup of tea on the dashboard without spilling a drop!!

Here's the Warbirds Dakota getting doing the same near Whenuapai ... two sugars!!

Is the cup and saucer freeware ? smile.gif or the start of a whole new line of addons.........

Great screen

Well ... I had to use a bit of blu-tack! He must have been quite a pilot - I can imagine the tea being OK once the roll was established ... it's how he did the entry and roll-out so smoothly that amazes me.

The Mark II *Real China* teacup is available for fsx.gif only from the NZ Warbirds website - only $9.99 (not including tea) smile.gif

Heh ... thanks for that, Charl. I have Bob Hoover's autobiography ... incredible book ... with some amazing stories. He just has to be one of the best pilots ... ever. Sadly no longer with us sad.gif

I had not heard he had died? He lost his licence for a while and had to give up airshow flying, but I though he was still alive. Truly a fantastic pilot who lived the golden years of aviation along with his good fiend Chuck Yeager.

Just a quick note, after reading Adamski's Spitfire comp thread.
I've been thinking about whether we really need rule 3, above, requiring the screenshot to fit a banner shape. We may not include this in future comps. It shouldn't really be a big consideration whether or not the image can be easily made into a banner, that's our job to make it fit. I wouldn't really want to see voters taking this into account, if the best screenshot in all other respects breaks this rule.

Just to play devil's advocate ... I actually *like* the limitation - as it forces me to think of slightly more "unusual" compositions winkyy.gif

Maybe separate "Monthly Banner" / "Monthly Screenie" contests?

I've never been to a forum where the contest winner gets to be the banner boy for a month.

As Adamski mentioned, the size limitation is forcing me to think outside my comfort zone, and I love that. thumbup1.gif

Here's one I'm finally happy with, taken tonight during a multiplayer session with our usual flying group.
