Landing the new Alabeo C195 at Tamiru in harsh conditions and with heavy crosswinds!

EDIT: Got it to work now, it was my own stupid mistake: I uploaded the full res image and resized it on the hosting site. But then it won't embed here, so I uploaded a resized version and it all works now!

Now your getting the gist of it , ....... Your best screen shot yet ! ... you have the jiggy jaggies as one would put it - go to your settings/display in FSX - check 'Anti-aliasing' is ticked and you filtering is 'Anisotropic'

Hey there Roelio

It's really simple to show up that image on your post,
you just have to copy the image URL and once you are posting, click on the picture link and it will show a popup that says 'please enter the URL for the image', then paste the URL into the popup typing bar and then it will appear like , maybe you might have copied the image link URL into the popup typing bar.

Hope this will help

Zain.

Cheers Ian, will try that for future comps despite that more than 1 month ago, I had to delete the FSX.cfg file which means that I had to reset the settings because of that issue when your alt menu bar dosen't show up and a few minutes later, your aircraft is totally uncontrollable.

I'm picking there's a fierce cross-wind there - or the pilot's been on the hard stuff ....

Well, it looks like that situation in Wellington when you approach Rwy34, those strong winds from Cook Strait, can blow ya off course.

I have posted images here before without any problems at all. But now I get an error that says: Sorry, dynamic pages in the [IMG] tags are not allowed. I don't get this at all since I'm not doing anything different than I did before. I guess I'll try an other way then...
EDIT: I tried to use the site Ian pointed out, but I still get an error like this: "The following errors have occured" but it says no cause... However the preview works fine

I have tried and posted on another site without a issue using the suggested site , I have seen your posts/screens here before, head scratching what is the cause and creating this problem ?

I use PostImage, and it offers a variety of links.
Both of these will work, if I leave them as links:
http://postimg.org/image/l6cgmw5wf/
http://s19.postimg.org/9h8gyxexv/2012_8_19_Noumea.jpg

They are the same pic, but the first takes you to reduced-size pic and you can click on a menu link to open it full size.
The second links directly to an image I have set to the forum width limit.

I can put the img and /img tags around the second one, and the pic will display online. If I do that with the first one, the forum software will reject that, because in effect it means allowing a third party (PostImage) to control the way NZFF displays stuff. Big security breach.

Maybe Roelio's image storer has improved their product, and fixed it worse?

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Just to let you know, I changed the picture as Greg edited out the edges and PMed me with the new picture and I uploaded the new picture to fsfiles.org and replaced my version with his, although the same screenshot as my own version.

Really looks like its a winner here, MAYBE rolleyes.gif

A2A C-172, ZK-TAH from Neslon, checking out the Interislander ferry as it leaves Picton just on dawn.

Didn't quite turn out like I had imagined so may yet change this, but on the other hand I will probably procrastinate for so long that I will run out of time to update it!!
