The freeware program Cooktop is very good to use as well. Syntax checking and good use of colour.

I get that feeling every time I see CNN.
Like McDonald's it makes every American feel right at home, no matter where they might find themselves.
No local cuisine to savour, no adjustments to make for local custom, just comfortably numb.

Here's my current 'desktop', although shrunk for the forum. One other thing which I meant to mention was the visual guidance system -- you'll notice they are missing here. Getting a Safedock VGDS working is well beyond me, but it may be that these could be included, as the SODE developer is working on a VGDS 'addon' using SODE, at the moment he is figuring out how to release this. It is likely that it will be a payware package, although not expensive, but people may have to pay for individual airports. Don't quote me, but it could be say US$5 for the addon, and US$1 or so for an airport. He had stated a 'July or August' release....

I'd certainly like to be able to support this, but not too sure how it will be implemented. When I said it was beyond me, I'd really love to give it a go myself, but it would really add too much to the wait for NZCH. So a fully implemented third party addon would be a great solution!

Nice. Keen to see how this translates to AFS2, of course.
Those planes floating a wee bit?

Heya Rob, with GSX you can now define and place safedock units. Granted they're not as accurate as the SODE addon claims to be (can define AC specific stop positions), but it'll do in the meantime :)

Well, see, I didn't know that. Thanks! That certainly works, and is easy to set up. I guess those with GSX would need to tweak the distance for their favourite aircraft...

As always, my parking is atrocious, whether I use a marshaller or VGDS. I'll have to figure out how to stop GSX always telling me how poor my skills are. I can take it from a marshaller, but from a dumb box on a wall it's a bit insulting!
