Farewell to a great plane and my first FSX Spit. Soon to be replaced by the A2A Accusim model.....Payware RealAir Spitfire and VLC over the Canterbury plains with the Waimakariri River in the background

I have an idea for the February screenshot comp ... basically anything you like as long as it's a Cresco/PAC crop duster! Plenty of models to choose from - FS9 and FSX - and I'm sure NZFFers' evil imaginations will come up with some entertaining "non-agricultural" uses for these super little planes. I think we should "honour our own" once in a while New_Zealand_etc.gif

from my own fs2004-4.8m photo-realistic build of nz, have about 70% country wide aerial photo coverage, 30% satellite coverage



screen shots taken from my old computer
p4-3ghz
2gb ram
nvidia 7900gt agp 512mb
matrox th2go
texture sets running from raided SSD drives, compacted into multiple large files

next fs install will be on
i7-950
24gb ram (useful for creating ramdisk for texture sets nz@4.8m around 12gb)
nvidia 450 or 460 depending on which i7 computer i am using (have built a few of these now)
monitor dell u2711 or 6x dell p190s driven by twin matrox th2go depending on which i7 computer i am using
