I am surprised no one has risked an entry for surely one of the fugliest flying machines in existence...
It has to be represented, no question, and here it is, leaving NZPP for the very last time.

Farewell, ugly sprat, we will surely miss your beetle brow, your funny strakes and loss-making performance.
Hope there is someone out there foolish enough to take you off our hands, doesn't look like it.

Haha that actually made me laugh Charl clapping.gif

I haven't entered one of these things for a while so here goes.
Only the Poms could get a truck cab and turn it into a helicopter...... well ok, the French probably could of also.

Rick Piper's excellent (and yet unfinished) Bristol Sycamore over the coast at Hokitika with Robin's superb scenery.

So many people I know think that this aircraft is "ugly".....but to me, she is a beautiful and amazing piece of kit!

Nice one Tim cool.gif , that camo really gets in ..... I love this plane, back in Riccarton high school nearly forty years ago often flying out off Wigram .... other classic was one display at the Omaka Warbird around 2005 and run into engine problems, so they brought down to Christchurch , loved listening to the engine run-ups especially 11.00/11.30 at night , the good thing - whinding up the idiots who buy a house on the old air force ground then complain about aircraft noise .... this one put a smile on dial as it was here for 3/4 days biggrin.gif , the Saturday morning it took off and went up in a spiral and the sound was music to my ears.

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'
