This was the first Air Nelson aircraft then they got metros and so forth.
started by Mots own Robert Inglis started in 79.
in 92 when i was 8 i used to bike down to the airfield every weekend this was a 15km ride when i got there i spent all day sitting under this Navajo playing with the gear doors getting grease all over my shirt haha + pestering all the aero club staff!
Don't no if any of you no Alister Heart one of Air Nelson's top captains now, Motueka born and bred he was flying this NAV when i was 8 took me on many test runs haha.

Nice! Hey, Waka ... is this repaint available to all? If so, where is it .. and could I add it to my repaints site?

Its been a long time getting this aircraft first was the FSD saratoga then they had a deal 2 for 1 so i got the FSD cessna 377 and the Piper Navajo.
Wish now i had got it earlier its just about as good as the Seneca in my hanger

Great story. My dad is from Motueka and went to school with Robert Inglis. One of my cousins was a hostess with Air Nelson, her husband is a Q300 captain and he's good mates with Alistair so I for one know who you're talking about. I flew on this beast in 1993 from Wellington to Motueka when she wore the red Air Nelson livery. Fond memories indeed.

If she's based in Motueka the name should ring a bell. There were 5 brothers and one sister, and 2 of them still live in Mot today.

yes that navajo is a nice bird, looking forward to there version 3 release, which will be fsx specific, from what i have seen should be really nice a/c great pics too, looks like you got fsx humming nicely
