Blake, Ian (Warren), and myslef (James) went for a flight around Wanaka in our L-39s.
Our flight included flying from Wanaka to tekapo (where Blake had to leave us) and then on to Christchurch

Here are a few pictures that i took, in no piticular order.

a few hours after Ian and myself went in multicockpit, starting off with me taking off from wellington, flying around there with a few engine failures, (which gives the person in the back seat a job) then landing at Woodbourne, where i jumped into the front seat and let ian take the controls, he flew around a bit, did a accidental wave off, come around for the landing and then the aircraft did a 'funky chicken' and went wildly out of control, we were well above stall speed.

No pictures from that sorry!

L39 , This thing can be a hand full on takeoff , loaded make sure you have some runway ! , Hells give me the BAe Hawk any day

Its sorta like a underpowered BAC167 , really has a hi wing loading , take some fuel out , she becomes a little more spritely

Nice details are the two NZ reg.s Albatros in the airshow curcit paints by Bob'Bananabob'Rivera .

The Three Amigo's ... Blake , James and Me

later the evening caught up , Tekapo

our destination for that night

BUT HERE IS THE WICKED PART , later a quick trip in Multiplay , James driving and im in the backseat monitoring !

We went through different testing , in stages the engine flamed out , back seat i was able to restart and follow backups when required . one amazing ride .
