Having perused the forums for the past few days I've noticed everybody seems to be showing off the Lotus L-39 Albatross, I thought I'd bring another excellent fast jet to your attention. I know it's been out a little while now, but I still don't tire of Alphasim's excellent F-5E Tiger II. While it's not as in depth as the L-39, particularly in regards to things like start-up, it still features outstanding detail and feel. Here's a few shots for your enjoyment. It does offer a little more "grunt" than the L-39, and will easily do 600 kts or better, climbs like nobody's business, and turns quite tightly. I doubt it's as easy to fly as the L-39 (especially for a novice pilot), but it's every bit as much fun. The scenery package is of Whidbey Island NAS in Oak Harbor, Washington.

Just to give you an idea of the F-5's size, here it is next to Iris' excellent F-14A (unfortunately not the newest FSX F-14):

Speaking of which, it does an excellent job in chasing said F-14 down in dogfights biggrin.gif

When I get a new mic, I'll have to take it onto multiplayer with y'all and see what fun can be had against the L-39 drivers out there biggrin.gif

I think running a F5 against an L39 may not be a challenge , you really have to watch the speed in the Albatros , the scenery looks rather default ?
