Whenever Microsoft come up with a new sim version, I fly a few iconic NZ flights, just to test it out. Since I've been doing some VLC testing for Tim, I've felt the need to refly these flights, because it really is like a new sim.
This flight is Hokitika to Ashburton, partly to have a look at Ian Warren's autogen on the Kaniere photo scenery. In the past I've always been aware of the transition between photo scenery and the rest of NZ, but with VLC I no longer cringe when I make the transition -- in fact photo scenery and VLC seem to enhance each other.
