Three random pictures from the ORBX Pacific North West. All taken in the area not far from Fairchild International, which is in the demo. area.

All with REX weather as usual, screen res. at 1920 and fps pegged at 19.

Smooth landings.

The one thing i have found with VLC testing is the comparing from the many NZ history and current aviation books check with photos , i,ve brought two further to add simply the reason to get the real aerial feel , if you understand the area you life in , you would spot landmarks that put you on track if you get lost .

Debating buying the PNW FTX scenery. AU Blue is great but there isn't much to see as a lot of it is quite flat. The PNW covers an area larger than even the whole of NZ so I'm guessing it would provide many hours of bush flying enjoyment.

So I bought it. Took a little trip this evening after it downloaded. South of the coverage area. Was a lovely little flight with Heidi!

Take off was in a mountainous area, so we decided to follow the river downstream:

The land flattened out and we found civilization!

A few small towns and villages along the rivers path:

We found a runway!

With tundra tires you've got to be super smooth on concrete landings as the soft tread tends to overgrip and fling you forward (I found this out the hard way)!

Looks like I wasn't the only one with the same idea. I was however the only one who hadn't washed their cub!

Good that you have enjoyed the scenery as well.

May I ask what Heidi did after the flight?? !!!!!

smooth landings (with or without tundra tyres).

Really tempted by the full PNW scenery with the Mountains etc....as per yourself I have never been tempted that much with the Aussie scenery as the distances are so vast and the country so flat.

Great shots BTW
