Welcome to the NZFF Screenshot Competition for June 2010.

This month's rules are as follows:

1) The screenshot must be from a Flight Simulator program (FS2004, FSX, X-Plane, etc), and the position of the shot must be somewhere over New Zealand territory.

2) The image size must be at least 1024 pixels wide, and no wider than 1280 pixels -- this is a change from previously, so take note! Read the uploading screenshot guide to find out how to re-size your shot. Please keep a high resolution version saved on your computer; the admin may request it from you at the end of the month to convert into a site banner!

3) Also remember, try and make your shot suitable for a thin rectangular banner. Think about that when positioning your aircraft and choosing camera angles etc. (and please don't include any text on the image either).

4) Images can be submitted from June 1st to June 30th 2010, with only one entry per member. You can change your submission before the closing date if you want, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one (by using the edit button at the bottom of your post. Please don't post saying you have edited your original entry, as this creates unnecessary clutter).

5) Soon after the competition ends, a poll will open to decide who has the best image, then the winner will have a cropped version of their image appear in the NZFF banner as well as receiving the prize the adulation of the forum!

6) Editing is allowed, if you know how to do it. The more stunning your shots look the better!

7) This month's theme is 'From the Cockpit.'. As always you can interpret the theme as you wish, but the shot must be taken from within a visible cockpit. 'Visible' may mean just a reflection, so the cockpit doesn't have to be the main feature of the shot.

Once again, there is no prize, but that just takes some of the pressure off! Last month we had 28 entries, I think that the voting system allows up to 30, so let's see what happens when we go over this limit!

You're a poet and you didn't even know it!

Great little area of RealNZ that. Probably my fav. And I simply love that plane, I will deffo be purchasing more RealAir products. Their planes are in a league of their own. Dare I say better than Carenado! I just love how you can click on areas of the cockpit to zoom into the controls rather than having to select the view through right click (or pressing "a"). The sounds are superb too, and the guages super smooth. Ack, now I just sound like a walking advert.

However, please note the nose down attitude as I haven't quite completed my pulling out of a steep dive from 3000 feet... laugh.gif
