I have a problem with that when I exported the model to look at it with-in FS2004 this is what I ended up with. The model is made in GMAX and looks fine as you can see from the screen shot.
But in FS2004 some of the parts are inside out. And one of the main wheels rotates when I pan around it. Does anybody know what the problem is and how to fix it?

This is quite common, and is usually caused by using the 'mirror' button, when copying one side to the other. This mirrors the object, but also the normals, which isn't really that useful. You can re-flip the normals, so that they appear correctly in FS. but this makes them appear wrong in GMAX.

The best way is to keep away from the mirror button, and use the Mirror Modifier.
