Hallo NZ crew
, hope you are all well. Its been a very long time since I came back on here. Nice to be on here again, enjoying all your screengrabs. I did this flight last night from SNA to SEA, hope you like them!
Welcome on board our Alaska Airlines flight from Santa Ana to Seattle. The pax have boarded and we are ready to push

Trundling along to the active while the pax endure the bleating of the safety demo videos.

Nice weather for flying today. Almost on our runway and the tower clears us for rolling takeoff

Climbing fast! A light load today

Turning onto course....

Bit bumpy around here...

We'll keep the seatbelts signs on a bit longer

And here we are at cruise sipping coffee and munching on sandwiches! Well I am while my FO watches the aeroplane.

The winglets reduce the strength of the wingtip vortices. They also make the wing more efficient as less lift is lost to the vortices because instead of forming at the tip of the wing they now form at the tip of the *winglet*. Happy wings! A very clever invention!

After a pleasant cruise its time to begin the descent, out come the checklists as we trot downward...

Here we are establishing on the ILS

Landing checklist complete, we trundle on down the glideslope with ATC chattering away in our ears...

Its been a really nice day and Im lookin forward to grabbin a burger once this things on the ground!

Lets drop the dunlops and the barn doors....

We've actually arrived 10mins early due to a tailwind so everyones happy. Although we will probably get a long taxi to the gate...bleh! The water looks good for a dip!

Almost down now, a quick scan to make sure we're all good...starting with that gear handle...is it do....yes it is! Capt. ThrottleUp always makes sure...

The wheels take the strain as we rumble onto solid ground, we have arrived!

Security patrol dude took this one

Right lets slow this crate down...

Engines off, park brake set. Cabin crew disarm all doors....and yea open em!

A passenger glances back as he walks to the terminal. "Thanks Capn' Throttle!"

Hope you enjoyed the ride to Seattle. Till next time...
