laugh.gif Ian...he thinks the Concorde is a cheap copy of the the 144.....so i dont think his time line is too accurate......you have to love those Russkys.... biggrin.gif

The 144 was earlier only by few months .. it is faster only by a 100 miles per hour , it deserves reconition as the closet thing to a THUNDERBIRD than your E166 smile.gif

I the Concorde shot from FSX or is it a real photo?? Very very nice.

Seem to remember hearing that when Concorde was flying in regular service, that the RAF did not have a single aircraft that could catch it. Wish that it was still flying.

Again great screenshots, focussing on the aircraft rather than the scenery. The more that I look at that Concorde shot, the more that I like it.

smooth landings.

Thanks very much for the compliment HT.....its not a photo, and its not FSX ....Its fs9 smile.gif I have to admit i was pretty pleased with that one myself....because it was fs9.
Just shows that with the right addons, and a little luck , the old sim can still cut it.

Thanks again HT .

Cheers

Marty

Hey Marty - those are some nice looking screens. I had a question that I wanted to ask, but don't want to offer any offense, so please interpret that way - ok? smile.gif I notice that there seem to be defined colour boundaries on some of the shots (not in these ones, but the ones on the Strikemaster in the other thread), in that there are not smooth transitions in a number of places. Also, on the Concorde shot, there is a pattern in the clouds that looks odd. Are these just "artifacts" from the screen-grab software you are using, or do your graphics actually look like that on-screen? I'm interested for 2 reasons: 1) I used to work as the production manager for an advertising agency for 9 years, so I notice "irregularities" in colours and images in general, and I'm being nosy about it and 2) I am thinking about screen shots myself, and wonder if this is a common phenomenon or if it can be screen / system-specific or just what the story is.

Thanks mate! smile.gif
