Recently I went for a flight in ZK-MAD, a Pitts Special down at Ardmore.

I went ahead and purchased the a flightsim model of the aircraft, a payware version from Pureflight Simulations, which turned out to be not as good as I expected. Instead, 'Cbris' volunteered to paint me the L.I.C. Christian Eagle II, ( which is surprisingly similar to the Pitts, both in shape and performance)in the ZK-MAD colors for me.

Today, I took her up for a flight around Queenstown. Here are 16 screenshots I took (1.65mb):

A big thanks to Chris for his awesome paintjob! All I had to do was give him a photo and he managed this scheme in just a few days! A public version (which does not include the words 'TROLLY' on the tail ;) ) will be released on avsim soon.

Cheers.

Excellent shots and paint scheme - my favourite free ware model and a NZ scheme was on my wish list

By the way what water affects are you using?

Thanks people.

The Red Baron Entertainment free water/landclass package.

Maybe that is because Queenstown is in the middle of the nowhere, not much autogen around... fairly good FPS.

If I sat in my PMDG 1900d cockpit at YSSY, it would be a completely different story!
