Unless my eyes or arithmetic deceive me, we have a winner in the September Screenshot Contest.
Congratulations, Albatross!
The masthead-to-be image of that beautiful thing was made without my shiny alpha channel bits on spinner and exhaust.
But meantime I've grown less fond of the very shiny look and so have toned down the stacks a tad.
Users please queue at my PM box... winkyy.gif

Cool screens and love the RNZAF repaint.
Yes the exhaust stubs on the PT6 engines (and most turbines) are usually quite dull and never very shiny unless very very new.
I have been playing around with shine and chrome effects in FSX for my Cresco and it takes a bit to get the right balance on the spinner.

Oh I don't know about that smile.gif I'm convinced that it was just too many great shots competing drawing the votes away from one another. I am glad that the fine King Air will get honoured for a month up the top of the forum. Thanks Charl!
Also, VLC is something in my current financial position would be almost impossible for me to buy, so I'm not only grateful for you votes, but to Tim for graciously giving away a copy as a prize. I shall have to do some more advertising for you over in my VPA forums, but now I will be able to include my own screenshots!

WOW!! Another fantastic screenshot which just goes to show that there are some real screenshot artists here.

I still propose a 'hall of fame' for the best of the best, this shot is another one that will have to go in.

Perhaps some of these fantastic shots should be entered internationally??? These sort of shots are too good to keep to ourselves.

STUNNING QUALITY.

smooth landings.
