Part Two of a Three part series - Down To Earth
Part 2 is showcasing all the details you see around the GA/Tower/Eagle Air/CTC area via BOB and then also a drive around to the Terminal in my new Beamer
lol I took so many photos it was hard to pick out a few to show, what you see here is only fraction of what you see when you're actually there, walking or flying around!
Anyway, I'll let the pics do the talking:
.Starting where I finished in Part 1, after jumping out of my Cresco

.The Super Air junkyard showing all its old/broken trucks

.Super Air fertilizer plane (Fletcher?)

.Pretty self explanatory really...its the Waikato Aero Club

.Random building on stilts

.Nice...'depth'

.Eagle Airways (Subsidiary of Air NZ) HQ and maintenance facilities

.Burning drum with awesome flame/smoke effects

.Cool little helipad

.LOL awesome engine testing area made out of shipping containers

.CTC Crew Training Cantre, I had a tour there last year for real and it looks exactly like its real world counterpart, perhaps it needs a few static models though?

.Lots of signage

.Airways control tower

.Awesome view

.nice detail along the drive esp. the farm fence

.Looking Right....Modeled road signs, bales, power lines, cows...

.Looking Left....more detail

.Off we go

.Cruising along Airport Rd / SH 21

.Little flags on the lines to alert aircraft landing and taking off

.More farm detail

.Coming up to the Terminal turnoff....theres even a sign to warn me

.Nice entrance

.Signs + vegetation

.Conference Centre

.again...look you can drive in there!

.Fuel facilities and carpark

.Dammit I have to pay to park here

.looking for a park...not to hard to find in a place like Hamilton

.Arrived in heaps of time to check in...coming in Part 3

Thanks you for looking, Part 3 coming soon ready to show off the Terminal interior and ramp detail, and then for a final departure.
Cheers,
Jimmy
