Welcome to the NZFF Screenshot Competition for January 2011.

This month's rules are as follows:

1) The screenshot must be from a Flight Simulator program (FS2004, FSX, X-Plane, etc), and the position of the shot must be somewhere over New Zealand territory.

2) The images must be jpg and size must be at least 1024 pixels wide but no wider than 1280 pixels -- A good free resizing program can be found Here. Please keep a high resolution version saved on your computer; the admin may request it from you at the end of the month to convert into a site banner!

3) Images can be submitted from 1st until the 31st January 2011, with only one image and one entry per member. You can change your submission before the closing date if you want, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one (by using the edit button at the bottom of your post. Please don't post saying you have edited your original entry, as this creates unnecessary clutter).

4) Soon after the competition ends, a poll will open to decide who has the best image, and then the winner will have a cropped version of their image appear in the NZFF banner as well as receiving the prize for the month if we have one donated.

5) Editing is allowed, if you know how to do it. The more stunning your shots look the better!

6) This month's theme: “Flying over a freeware or pay-ware New Zealand Scenery Add-onâ€￾ (competitors must state whether pay-ware or freeware and the name of the NZ scenery add-on in their post)

I ask all members to please patronize all our very generous prize sponsors.
We have another excellent prize for this month’s competition very generously donated by Just Flight.

For the winner of the January 2011 NZFF Screenshot competition the prize is a Just Flight product (download version) of their choice.

Check out the Just Flight download software titles

Thank you this months prize sponsor

whathesaid.gif Wow....off to a flying start.....great screens you two thumbup1.gif Might have a go at this one, my only concern is how a "default" scenery could possibly compete with a payware......but then again, the two great shots already posted are very well done, and it could be default .....I'll shut up now. rolleyes.gif

A2A Piper Cub alongside Mt Cook as the sun sets after another brilliant summers day. Going to have to hurry to get back to the airport by CET..

Reinstalled FSX and had the need to give everything a little test flight to round off the evening . . .

oops, forgot to add that the above shot was taken using Vector Land Class to generate the background details
