Nice work as usual mate thumbup1.gif

KC, you'll get her out again... Bomb-bay/Center tanks empty, 2700rpm (as opposed to the normal 2500) half flap and hold the tail down wink.gif
She'll lift off in a 3-point attitude, gear up and back to 2500 while holding normal take-off MP.

Tell all the crew to jump when you get to the end of the runway, it'll make it lighter. biggrin.gif

I had two (pies)......donated most of the fuel to the aeroclub (dont know what they will do with it)......backed up as far as possible (on 05)...lots of flap, trimmed the tail down a bit more than normal....and pointed it at nelson .....interesting departure. That aircraft seems much bigger when your at a little place like that...much bigger.

Oh. . . In that case, I wouldn't recommend jumping, you know with the whole knocking the control stick forward and crashing into the ground thing. Mind you it does have the USAF logo on the side, they'd be quite happy to splash out for a new one at $62mill us a pop.

What a lot of people don't know, or understand about the WoP/A2A models (with regard to KC and the '17) is that flying them by the book, pulling the rpm back after the initial climb and gear up etc actually makes a difference. Every single one of their models going back to the Heavy Bombers and Jets pack, relies on that rpm change in order to accelerate the a/c into a cruise-climb... Try their B-29 model with a combat loadout - if you're not back to 2550rpm by the time the gear's up, you'll be wishing you left it down... it just wont accelerate nor maintain altitude.
In mp on the WSP servers, if a gaggle of us scrambled in 109's or 190's I'd find myself pulling away from the rest of the formation as they'd leave their props in fine pitch and moan and ##### over TS about how I must have shagged around with the .cfg for my a/c.

After so many thousands of payware and freeware models have come and gone with their CSU-equipped props not actually doing anything for the performance of the model in the sim, I guess people forget to try these goodies out... The bonus with the A2A models is you hear the engine note change, they actually sound like they're working for their oats notworthy.gif

You needed that shorter version you had the other day...
But shopping with a runway in the background is a completely different kettle of coffee, so to speak.

Alpha....i know what you mean ..... i dont know how many times i crashed on take off in the wop B-29 because of the wrong power settings or what "i" thought was the right amount of flap....has to to be by the book.....or get yourself a play station.
