Back in the late 1950s I used to row parties across this lake early hours of the morning before any wind came up so they could get photos of the glacier reflections on the lake but sadly the glacier has receded back that far that it is no longer seen from the lake

With the receding glacier also the lake is so small it is surprising to see the quality off photos , it was born in the right place in the right time .
