oh very nice!.. and welcome back bug!...the Islander is still on my must purchase list. Is that picture taken over Mt Egmont (sorry Mt Taranaki)?

I was scrolling through some screen shots the other day (I think it was Orbx) and there was a screen shot somebody had done with the Islander heading out to the Great Barrier REEF from some Aussie Airport. laugh.gif

Yes, I need sun! The winter is a bit long here, so I'm back to NZ for some flights around and yes, it is Mt Taranaki New_Zealand_etc.gif

Welcome back!!! Great screenshot of one of my favourite FSX aircraft. I almost did a "double-take" - it looks so real. I always "fly" that livery myself.

This is also one of my favorite aircraft! The FSX package is simply awesome in my opinion. The 3D (actually rendered in 3D) is very hard to beat.
Plus, this aircraft has a stall speed of 40 knots!

I have written a full review in the next Computer Pilot Magazine if anyone here reads/subscribes.
Certainly worth looking at if you like island hopping, STOL style operations or bush flying.
I'd imagine it would be quite a versatile aircraft for some flight ops in New Zealand!
