Climbing out of Hokitika on a flightseeing trip to Mt Cook and return.

Pretty good buildups - looks like VFR ontop.

GPS says were here - all I know is we're close.

Headed back - out of 12900, an easy 18 inches and smoking at about 190kts. The needles say straight ahead - one thing of note, the NDB frequency and aircraft type are the same, makes for pinpoint navigation smile.gif .

For anyone contemplating a light twin for their hangar - that MilViz C310R is a honey. No NZ paints yet but it comes with a kit plus a variety of liveries and panels - steam gauge and glass. Since I have no NZ scenery, other than some small freeware snippets, decided to try the default. Like the photoreal sceneries, it looks pretty good from altitude.
