It was a flight around this route: 1S2-89WA-BEZOV-TUBTY-4WA5-KORS. The flying time was around one hour. The point was to find out how good the FS X is on my new machine, a smal I5 760 with 6GB RAM and a lower end ATI-Card. After some modification of the FS X with the Program "Flusifix" the FS X seems to be flyable on this smal machine.

The first Airport is Darrington Muni. Many of the "older" users may have him in FS 2004 from Richard "Georender" Goldstein. He was one of the most famous Designer´s for smal VFR-Szeneries in FS 2004.

Yes, the airport is more detailed and looks like all these places You can find everywhere in the States.

Flying between the mountains with such a smal helicopter is not easy. Watch out for some turbulence.

Urban areas seem´s a lot better as in FS 2004.

KORS... Orcas Island was another airport from Georender. It is funny, that the Guys from ORBX have remodeled it.

The Schweizer 300 is a cool thing to fly VFR at low altitude. It is a slow machine and You can looking around... This one is from Just flight. Smal problem. No repaint with US- or canadian markings.

Hope, that New Zealand is one of the next places we get sceneries from ORBX. Think, with all the landscape, with mountains, long coastlines and a lot of eyecandy New Zealand is a lovely place to fly VFR...

My answer is "Flusifix". Sorry, Wolly, the creator of this program didn´t want, that we link to his side, but with Google you can find him. This program, is available also in English version. It help´s to optimeze the Flusi with all the hints meanwhile available in the Internet. Yes, the problem with FS X as we all know is that there is something to do to get an acceptable performance. My old AMD 3700+ and FS X... there was no chance,m even with the SP1 and 2, but it was a good machine for FS 2004. The I5 760 is not a very powerfull machine, but the results with a tweaked FS X seems for me to be aceptable.
