I believe you can define a button to take screenshots in FSX, not sure about FS9 though. I use ATi Tray Tools for my screenshot needs.

I should have said I am using FS9. Perhaps someone will come up with the answer.

Hi Pat , U have 4 default veiws in 2004 , by pressing the 'S' key , that is the spot/tower/Virtualcockpit/cockpit Correct ? ( idea1 U like myself short while back in creating S/shots , set your graphic setting to 800X600 veiwable ) , You now can take screen pic's you press the 'PrintScreen-SysRq' Key . This will take a photo of your Screen in Flight sim , Go to your MSpaint , simply called 'paint' open and paste , thats it . Follow the Instruct on posting Screen Shots in this forum . :)

Also you can get programs that capture your screen and save it to a pre-defined folder on a key stroke (you can define which key ;) ).
I personally use YAFSScreen (http://www.marian-aldenhoevel.de/YAFSScreen/).

Thanks to all for your help. Unfortunately it appears that my Print Screen key isn't working hence all my problems. Cheers.

Thanks Alex. That programme may be the answer to my problems. I will have a look at it.

if you have one of those microsoft keyboards with the function keys, make sure F Lock is off (i.e. function keys are on.)

Alex,
I have installed the program. With my limited experience how do I take a photo from the aircraft cockpit?. I hope I don't have to use the "Print Screen" key which doesn't appear to be working on this keyboard. Sorry to be so dumb!!
Pat.
