Jolly good practice run, on the day the Mall was a little more populated!
Hope the Spit and Hurri made it too...how long does it take to get to the Palace from Biggin Hill?

Steady ... left a bit .. steady , right on target ... I'm guessing the FS2004 AH Lancaster?

If a guy had an aerial photo of the crowd there last Friday, that could be a really nice composite. And maybe the balcony group too.

Thanks guys! thumbup1.gif

Charl - I didn't do the entire flight, I took off from London City! Would have probably missed the Palace entirely had I started from Biggin Hill laugh.gif

Ian - heh. Yes, it's the Just Flight-published version of the AH FS2004 Lancaster which tends to be more commonly available up here. It works well in FSX with a bit of persuasion with the only real issue being some of the clickable controls in the VC don't work. The scenery is VFR London X by Aerosoft and Horizon Simulations. I've just moved up to Win 7 x64, a GTX580 and a 24 inch widescreen monitor and was really pleased with this scenery which is very intensive but is running at about 25FPS here maxed out ohmy.gif. Under XP and my GTX295 I had to turn everything down and still got a slide show. laugh.gif

07moffata, Olderndirt - love the idea of a composite with the crowds! Thinking about it I should've made the weather more overcast too. Could have used real-world weather actually, as the conditions are still similar here to on the day.

Splitpin - I'll be back to flying over wonderful empty NZ landscapes soon. I'm doing a complete reinstall of FSX following my upgrade. FTX AU and the UK down, NZ is next. I always leave NZ until last as that's the one I keep tweaking and adding to!
