Thanks Bra guy (you thought I'd forgotten tongue.gif ) thumbup1.gif Johnston's book "wing leader is a great read, Ive got an old 1956 copy of it.....must have read it about a dozwn times over the years.

Re the shots, Ive been given a great book called "spitfire flying legend" and a lot of the shots....which are all stunning, are in flight , but up close. ...those inspired me a little, working on some more for later.

Very sure it was the 1994 show but could have been 1992 , at the Space Shuttle display and he was not wheelchair bound at that stage , funny told him he should have visited my brother during his build of the 3/4 scale Spitfire for a birdman rally 1989 the UK , he recalled the event and said half reason had to return to NZ to find out what made us so plane nuts .

Thanks Naki.... was lucky, i was house sitting for some friends and they gave me the book as a thankyou....but....it was some of your shots, like the A-10 you did a while ago that really got me thinking about not having to see the whole aircraft in a screen.
PS:
i didnt make it to the post shop today...but I'll do it in the morning.
