Equal time for the opposition. Marty's Spit, without a doubt an excellent version and certainly pristine, needs to be compared with this pair as they looked at the end of September, 1940. Sharp eyes will note than one is not a Spit smile.gif .

Which reminds me I have been meaning to do the same. I have a copy of the special aniversary edition BoB movie with a doco of the making of the movie as well. Man the arial battle footage was insane from a real time pilots point of view. It would not be deemed safe at all in todays saftey standards.

To follow on that one , i also have , using the movie as time chronicle , date - weather - time with extras not used in the film .. for a 1968 production its incredible cool.gif

Michael Caine, an actors' actor, had only a small part - up and not back - but who'll forget his dog. Speaking of Caine - ever notice how perfectly he wore military caps in his various movies?

He practiced for hours to that part right , as for the dog , the chaps spoil her dirty , he'll be ok biggrin.gif
