The Harrier does look very nice I must say. Still, it is a military aircraft, which means I'll probably never fly it! Unless there was a civil version.... dry.gif

Nice screens! thumbup1.gif

I know what you mean. If only he wouldn't sound so enthusiastic about new aircraft. Obviously The Force is strong in Ian - and my willpower is weak . . .

Three short flights and I see that there's a steep learning curve in front of me . . . I suppose I should thank you Ian for giving me many evenings of 'productive' activity . . . .

Nice Screens Marty , we could even get a real New Zealand paint for it , the one down at the Ashburton aircraft museum smile.gif . One thing ii have found is its very easy to transition landing and takeoff with a throttle quadrant , you should try it out next time you are here .

So true laugh.gif - I have manged some STOL both on take-off and landing but the VTOL stuff is proving more of a challenge - as you said, it's the vertical part that's proving tricky!! Did some screens but they don't really show that you're in a hover so not worth putting up at the moment.
