I never got the original Connie so don't know if it was payware or freeware, but there are a series of Constellations for FSX on the Prepar3D site for free if anyone is interested smile.gif

Manfred Jahn did a wicked Job on this one , Adrian 'Birthday Boy' Brausch has done a brilliant repaint off the Australian HARS 'Connie' I don,t think Adrian has released it yet - I have been on board this one many times , I got known as the NZ Kiwi Connie spy , I have the book on the history and restoration and the DVD showing whats involved , the night displays at Avalon just a WOW .

Nice Screen Connor of Connie smile.gif

Pretty good mate. Lots of great things happening and trying to keep out of trouble!

Off to Oshkosh this year as well for AirVenture, which will be a highlight.

Agreed Ian. Would love to have seen A2A do that before the B377. At least it could have been modelled more accurately given the ratio of flying Connies to Strats in the world currently winkyy.gif

This one would be ideal Multi Cockpit , one as the Pilot ,the Other Engineer , not sure if it has been tried before but would make for one ell of a impressive simulation fly .

Ah Ha .. You have the Strat , now we try this idea out , only allowed two in the cockpit , i,m more than happy to operate the engineering station so that makes you pilot

That,s the whole plan , check , double check , you only have to drive and turn the corners , its me in the back seat making sure all working properly , I guess you should print out a take off check sheet which is very handy .

We (Lockheed Martin) took over the source code for ESP (commercial version of FSX SP2+) when Aces closed down.

Put the Question , John - I will have to look at this , but is there not a required service payment , a toll to run - a regular monthly bill ?

Hi Ian,

There is a developer network for US$9.95 per month (comes with two copies of Prepar3D). (Anyone can be a developer, we do not have a pre-requisite to qualify just as Apple doesn't for their iPod developer network, or MS for MSDN etc) The client license is priced for commercial use at US$499 (perpetual license). We are looking at an academic/education license as well. (Pricing to be confirmed 3Q.) This isn't going to appeal to everyone, but it is a fully supported software app and we have already released an update that has fixed a few little things in the source code we were fortunate enough to inherit such as window repositioning and made it multi-channel, updated the shader model, added bathymetry, sensors, GPS updates etc. If someone has 1-30k dropped on a simulator in their basement or shed, then I think that the client price will be right for a supported simulation app rather than relying on something else that isn't. The developer network is a great place to start for those that are contemplating doing something with the app, even if they want to look at creating flight plans, missions, repaints or whatever. The SDK has been updated and is free from the website. We have a free community downloads section that is small right now, but I am hoping that the community will start adding to it. The app is about 99.9% compatible with FSX and we will be maintaining compatibility as long as possible. We also have plans to update it to DX11.

Sorry, didn't want to turn this into an infomercial! smile.gif
